Manufacturer Description:

Faxon Firearms barrels are the pinnacle of value. Manufactured 100% in-house from cradle-to-grave, these barrels are fully stress relieved, air-gauge tested, and 11 degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy.

Quality is imbued into our barrels from the start. We start with the best materials, either certified 4150 Mil-Spec steel or 416-R Stainless. From there, each barrel goes through a battery of tests at each operation until finished in Nitride and final inspected. All barrels are individually checked for headspace by precision custom hardened gauges.

What are the cartridge chamber dimensions. I have a reload with clearance issues.

Hi David I spoke with Faxon today about it and they referred me to the standard NATO spec as that is what they cut their 5.56mm chambers to. Here is the relevant information from Wikipedia on the NATO dimensions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5.56%C3%9745mm_NATO#Cartridge_dimensions
Also here is the SAAMI specs for .223 Rem: https://saami.org/technical-information/cartridge-chamber-drawings/. Note that the NATO and SAAMI specs are slightly different. I hope that helps!
